Romana calls Herzog and invites him to dinner. She and Herzog discuss his past relationships over dinner and then have sex. Throughout the section, he writes more letters to other people, including President Eisenhower.
Section VI
After breakfast, Herzog takes a cab to the office of lawyer Simkins. The cab driver congratulates Herzog for being with such an attractive woman and shares his thoughts about romance. Simkins agrees to take Herzog’s case and tells him to meet at the courthouse.
At the courthouse, Herzog witnesses several trials, including those involving a fight between two men and a non-gender binary sex worker....
