When Mitch, arrives, Charlotte greets him at the door. Normally she's not there when he comes; she's working at MIT, as Morrie requested that she not leave her job for him. She warns Mitch that Morrie is having a hard day, but he'll still be happy to see him. Seeing Mitch's weekly food offering, she tells him Morrie can't eat solid foods anymore.
