Home is American novelist Toni Morrison's 10th novel, published by Alfred Knopf in 2012. The novel is set in the 1950s and depicts the story of Korean War veteran Frank Money's desperate journey home to Lotus, Georgia to save his younger sister. Speaking of Home in a CBS interview, Morrison states that Frank "has to go back through the country which is really like another battlefield for him. And he is ripping away, or I am, that glorious period that we think of now as the '50s. And I'm just looking underneath the sunshine to find out what the '50s were really and truly like."
