This collection of thirteen short stories includes some of Ray Bradbury's most famous and cherished works. Four are from his 1950 short story collection, The Martian Chronicles, (“Ylla”, “The Third Expedition”, “There Will Come Soft Rains”, and “The Million-Year Picnic”), four are from his 1951 short story collection The Illustrated Man (“The Veldt”, “Zero Hour”, Kaleidoscope”, and “The Exiles”), three are from his 1953 short story collection The Golden Apples of the Sun (“The Pedestrian”, “The Murderer”, and “A Sound of Thunder”), while the remaining two stories—“Dark They Were and Golden-Eyed” and “All Summer in a Day” can be found in Bradbury's 1980 anthology, The Stories of Ray...
