What does Obiora mean when he says he and Father Amadi are talking about "religion and oppression?"
In an extended metaphor, Obiora is talking about how you can't separate cowpea flour from palm oil, by which he means how religion and oppression go together. Obiora is suspicious about Father Amadi's missionary work. Probably he thinks that it will inevitably some measure of lying, force, coercion, or deceit.
