What do you believe Gilgamesh means when he tells Utanapishtum "you are like me?" (lines 3 and 4)

Gilgamesh seems somewhat shocked that Utanapishtum, thought immortal, appears ordinary and unremarkable. He cannot figure out what is so special about Utanapishtum, who is merely "like me."

This is somewhat ironic, since Gilgamesh has a notoriously high opinion of himself, and does not believe himself to be ordinary, or unremarkable.

Gilgamesh tells us that he originally intended to fight Utanapishtum. Why do you think he wanted to fight him?
