Kind of Activity:
Group Work
Objective:
Students will be able to connect ideas of revolution and activism in the novel with these concepts in real life.

Structure:
Begin the activity by leading a discussion about activism and rebellion. Esteban Trueba and Pedro Tercero both build careers and passions out of politics. Miguel lives for his activism. Jaime distances himself from his father because he has different political views. Lead the discussion by asking all or some of the following questions:
