Refugee Blues Lesson Plan

Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of "Refugee Blues," students with disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments, or any other ADA-mandated technological accommodations.

Several activities, including "Life of Auden" and the refugee-focused activities, will require students to conduct internet research. "German Jewish Refugees" asks you to screen a short clip, "Blues and Blues Poetry" to share a song.
