Blankets, published in 2003 by Top Shelf Productions is an autobiographical novel by Craig Thompson. Thompson documents events in his childhood and early adulthood, his first love, bullying and struggles with Christianity. The book was a means for Thompson to tell his parents that he was no longer Christian.
Blankets is critically acclaimed by the graphic novel community. It was ranked #1 by Time's 2003 Best Comics list. Besides the length of the novel, the technical mastery of the novel has been remarked upon by critics.
